Fender Precision Bass guitar, made in USA, circa 1968; Body: natural, stripped from sunburst (old finish visible in the neck pockets), re-lacquered with some checking, wear to edges, other dings and marks throughout; Neck: maple, mild wear to back, some checking, date stamp October 66; Fretboard: rosewood; Frets: mild wear and minor tarnishing; Electrics: working, volume potentiometer replaced and dating to 1980, tone potentiometer dating to 1966; Hardware: good, missing thumb rest, missing original pickup cover although repro included; Case: period gig bag; Weight: 4.26kg; Overall condition: good for age

*Purchased by the vendor from Don Wehr's Music City, San Francisco, USA on the 20th June 1975 and sold with a scan of the sales receipt. The vendor purchased the guitar in the already stripped natural finish. Whilst the serial number dates this guitar to 1968, all other parts date to circa 1966, aside from the replacement volume potentiometer
