A nameplate, EDEN HALL, from a GWR 4900 Hall Class 4-6-0 No 4996 built at Swindon in March 1931 and named after the Hall near Penrith which was demolished that same year. Allocated new to Old Oak Common, it was at Gloucester by 1950 and later Southall and Taunton from where it was withdrawn in September 1963 and sold for scrap to Cooper Metals at Sharpness.
