USA: HENRY JOHN HEINZ (1844-1919), THE SEVENTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FOUNDING OF H. J. HEINZ Co, bronze medal, by Emil Fuchs and (reverse) Rene Paul Chambellan, bust to right, reverse: the house (in Pittsburg), from where Heinz started the business, 76mm, extremely fine. The medal was struck by the Medallic Art Co., New York. Emil Fuchs modelled the obverse in 1922 (Fuchs died by suicide in 1929), for a company Long Service Medal. Rene Paul Chambellan was a renowned American architectural sculptor of the Art Deco period.
