A SECOND HALF 19TH CENTURY FRENCH ALABASTER AND GILT METAL FIGURAL MANTEL CLOCK BY JAPY FRERES, with gilt metal figure of a seated Renaissance figure with a sword, the drum shaped clock with enamel dial (cracked) and Roman numerals, the eight day movement over wound, bell strike, the shaped rectangular base with gilt metal classical mounts, on scrolled front feet, height 36cm x width 47cm, with velvet covered plinth, pendulum, key and receipt dated March 1989 (Clock, plinth and envelope) (Condition report: clock is not in working order, alabaster is cracked)
