An early 18th century walnut oyster veneered lace box, of rectangular outline with cast gilt metal handles to each side and escutcheon, the sides and hinged lid inlaid with oyster veneered panels within boxwood stinging, opening to reveal a patterned paper lined interior, the lid with inset marbled paper square panel, with key, 51 by 36 by 12cm high.
