A FINE VICTORIAN 1ST KING's DRAGOON GUARDD OTHER RANK's HELMET PLATE. A fine brass helmet plate for the 1st King's Dragoon Guards, Other Ranks type c. 1847-1871. With an elaborate crown above VR initials to the centre within 'King's Dragoon Guards against a silvered star within a Rococo shield, supported by crossed branches of oak and laurel leaves. 17 x 15cm. *CR Top of oak leaves lacking, slight indentations in places.
