.750 musket, 39 inch browned barrel. Front blade foresight and rear V sight. Breech with various proof stamps. Large back action lock plate with line edge engraving. Crowned VR cypher and "Tower 1840". Large military percussion hammer. Polished full stock woodwork. The butt with stamped "B.O" and broad arrow. Brass butt plate with long tang. Brass trigger guard, three ramrod pipes and end cap with steel, Hanoverian spring catch. Steel ramrod. Minor crack to breech wood. Complete with its P1838 bayonet. 16 1/2 inch, triangular form blade with hollow ground rear flats. Forte with maker "S Hill" and Ordnance stamps. Steel shoulder and socket.
