An attractive Georgian gold long guard chain, early 19th century, composed of gold links stamped with star motifs, to a clasp modelled as a hand in a foliate cuff in varicoloured gold, accented with a cushion-shaped garnet and cabochon turquoise, length 128cm, gross weight 60 grams.
Very nice quality. Overall condition is good, commensurate with age and mild use. Some chipping to turquoise cabochon in clasp, minor wear to garnet. Clasp secure.
