A George III silver shaped circular salver, gadrooned border, the field chased in the Chinoiserie taste with a border of pagodas Chinese figures, dragons, flowers and leafy scrolls, ball and claw feet, crested, 41.5cm diam, Richard Rugg I, London 1769, 56oz Heraldry: Arms of Sir Robert Warren, 1st Bt. (1723 - 1811) of Warren's Court, Crookstown House and Kilbarry Court, Co. Cork. Sir Robert was made a baronet of Ireland in 1784, which accounts for there being no baronet's badge on the shield here.
