A large bowie knife, polished clipped blade 12½” (32cm) long, marked "V crown R - Brookes & Crookes - Sheffield" to ricasso and lightly etched with locomotive and “Union Pacific Railway Linked East to West 1869” on one side, heavy brass crossguard, antler grip and scroll embossed sheet white metal pommel. Total length 17" (43cm)
