Police related items pertaining to Francis White including truncheon, long service medals, whistles & key & Hudson GPO whistle with some certs. (, Frank White, who served in the Special Constabulary of the Metropolitan Police in London from 1953 to 1978. He began as a Special Constable at West End Central Police Station, was promoted to Sergeant, and later became a Section Officer. The Special Constabulary is composed of volunteers performing full police duties, from community safety and maintaining public order to more memorable assignments—like supervising the premiere of The Beatles' film Help! on June 29, 1965. The attached photo shows then-Sergeant White assisting a young fan at the Premiere, who got a little too excited by the event.)
