Late 19th Century Austrian Cavalry Sword
31 1/2 inch, single edged, plated, slightly curved blade with large fuller. Forte with faint "Solingen". Plated steel, downswept quillon and stirrup knuckle bow. Plated steel pommel and plain backstrap. Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding. Contained in its plated steel scabbard with fixed hanging ring. Some loss of plating to the scabbard.
