19th century biscuit porcelain classical figure of lady L'Architecture and another La Peinture (pair), a continental pottery jug, a Portuguese hand-painted Quimper-style mug and a USSR figure of a girl
A pair of 19th century white biscuit porcelain figures on circular gilt-metal mounted circular bases - 'La Peinture' detached from circular base, left arm cracked and overpainted (the old overpainting has discoloured) and her palette is partially replaced and has again discoloured through age. Part of her right thumb and index finger lacking, some chipping to footrim underneath title, some chipping to column. Minor chipping to rims of detached plinth base. 'L'Architecture' remains attached to base, with chipping to implement in and fingers on her right hand, chipping to edge of scroll on column, firing cracks to reverse of her drape. Very minor chipping to base. The Quimper style mug is Portuguese and has a chip to rim. The remaining items are in reasonable order.
