A group of seven medals, awarded to Captain Frederick Daniel Parker, comprising a 1914-15 Star Trio (MID, AB MFA), a 1939-1945 Star, an Atlantic Star, with France and Germany bar, and a War Medal, and an MBE (with box), with a large group of assorted photographs, newspaper cuttings, a silver table cigarette box, a silver cigarette case, inscribed 'Presented to Captain F D Parker, by Stavros S Niarchos, and World Tankers Corporation, in grateful appreciation of assistance given to St World Concorde and her crew, during their distress in the Irish Sea on 27th November 1954, without a box, Note: Captain Dan Parker was heavily involved in the iconic rescuing of The Flying Enterprise, to which many photographs and newspaper cuttings relate
