1929 (Nov 12) Picture postcard depicting a cover carried on the 1919 England to Australia flight, the Vickers Vimy aircraft, and the four crew, the card posted from Hounslow to Melbourne franked G.B 1d, redirected to Kew with an Australia 1d (26 Feb 1930), the front of the card signed by Keith Smith and W.H Shiers. Only 10 of these cards were signed by Sir Keith Smith, and very few by W.H Shiers, the two survivors from the 1919 flight. A scarce signed card, with a commemorative folder.
