An English Imari profusely decorated bowl, 19th century. Overglaze painted with a Chinese garden scene to the centre enclosed by an elaborate border incorporating a variety of roundels depicting birds and flowers against a dark blue ground applied with gilt scrolling foliage in the European style. 9.8 in (24.8 cm) diameter.
Condition report: Excellent condition to the front. Some crazing to one portion of the reverse with possible hairline not visible from the front side.
