Scottish. 1st Highland Company, 1st City of Edinburgh RVC Victorian forage cap badge circa 1859-62. Good rare die-stamped white metal Thistle on tri-part Celtic scroll. Loops North & South replaced with East and West Base of thistle repaired. GC Formed 31st August 1859. Cap replaced by shako in 1862. Became “G” Company 1st Bn.
