Star Lot: A fabulous five note dinner gong from c.1900 with a solid oak case and barley twist columns. Solid brass bars have resonant brass chime tubes underneath, that play when hit with felt hammer. One sold recently by Harp Gallery for $395.
With brass plaque on top reading 'Presented o Miss E.K.O Woodward by the Parishioners of St John's Church Newcastle in grateful recognition of her work in the Parish during her fathers incumbency'.
