An Art Deco Hallmarked Silver Cased Manicure Set, (makers mark rubbed), Birmingham 1924, the case of plain design housing nail buffer, pill box, nail scissors, nail file etc, together with a decorative handled magnifying glass. (2)
The magnifying glass handle is not hallmarked silver. Signs of chipping to glass and the glass appears slightly unsecure when moved. The nail buffer, file, cuticle pusher and pill box are hallmarked silver topped, however the items have different hallmarks so may not be associated or original to the case. All items sit flush to the case, but the scissors appear to be a later addition.
The case has Allover abrasions and some small dents, however does shut flush. The hallmarks are rubbed.
