A vintage Burberry suit carrier case - 1980s, in classic check with dark brown leather trim and gold toned hardware, the exterior with top handle, a large zipped compartment to each side and luggage tag, approx. 58 x 48 x 17 cm, heavily used condition.
* Condition: Has clearly been heavily used early in its life. The exterior has some soiling and marks throughout from travel, damp spotting to one side (with a small 1in split to the fabric to the same side) and some wear to the leather. Tarnish spotting, wear and dulling to hardware. One of the leather pieces at the top corner has become detached and there is an associated split to the check fabric here by a brass rivet. The top edge of the case has bowed and there is slight bowing to the other edges. The interior fabric has a thin sponge lining which has deteriorated over time, becoming powdery.
