A nameplate EUROPEAN RAIL OPERATOR OF THE YEAR from Class 47 47309. This plate was unveiled at Chester Station in April 1998 to mark a European Transport and Environment Ministers meeting in the city. Plates removed February 1999. Cast aluminium, 117 ¾"x9 ¾", the front repainted, the back in original condition.
