A fantastic original watercolour and ink painting titled "Corrida" by the artist Lionel Borla. Features a comic style narrative of a bull fight, played out scene for scene.
Lionel Borla was born in 1974 and lived on the French Riviera until 1992. Lionel Borla has been painting since 2000 after graduating from the School of Architecture in Marseille in 1998. In a very graphic writing with flat surfaces, bright colours or dull tones, a sign of silhouette inhabits landscapes, architecture and other musical scenes. The works are mainly made on paper with Chinese ink, gouache, acrylic and walnut hull tincture. Photography and digital drawing are also among the techniques utilized.
