A Shelley Art Deco Vogue Sun Ray trio, pattern no. 11747, Rd.No. 756533, comprising; teacup, saucer, and plate (3) (chip to teacup foot rim)
The cup foot rim shows a chip approximately 7mm wide, a smaller chip approximately 5mm wide, and a hairline crack running from the rim to the base of the bowl. The saucer shows a hairline crack approximately cm running from the rim to the foot rim, and areas of fine surface crazing. The saucer shows areas of surface crazing extending into hairlines in places. All pieces show surface wear commensurate with age and rubbing to the gilt highlights. Cup rings when pinged; the other two pieces do not.
