An extremely rare half size Japanese anatomical model First half twentieth century, possibly Meiji period, made of ?Hariko? (papier-mache), the front section, head and limbs opening to reveal the removable inner body parts and sections, each with Japanese characters, probably naming and explaining each piece, approximately 138cm. tall.
