Desmund Eric Walduck (1920-1995), Pen ink, ' Flower Power ' a crouching nude with flower head decoration, Signed lower left and titled verso, 19 1/2 x 16 1/2''. Walduck was born in Islington,1920. A freelance artist, he was brought in to assist Frank Hampson and his studio on the 1953 Dan Dare Space Book. He also worked on the regular weekly Dan Dare strip in the Eagle. Outside of comics, he illustrated books.
