An attractive Belgian 6 shot 7mm double action pinfire revolver, c 1870, round barrel 90mm (3½”), the barrel and barrel lug unit incorporating a plate covering the front of the cylinder, the whole being quickly removable by unscrewing a hinged butterfly bolt in the lower frame, Liege proved, the whole plated overall giving the appearance of solid nickel silver, and deeply engraved with floral panels and scrolls, with folding trigger and chequered walnut grips, on grip stamped “GUYOT, RUE DE LYON 48”.
