A tenderplate, SKODA, 1255, 1956, from a metre gauge tender coupled with a Class YG 2-8-2, one of fifty YG Nos 4126-4175 built by Skoda in that year. Skoda allocated progressive numbers for tenders in a separate list from locomotives. English language text on Skoda worksplates was only used on exports to India, Burma and China. Cast brass, 6¼"x4", cleaned but unpainted. (Postage Band: B)
