9 inch, 16 bore, smoothbore barrel. Rear with proof stamps. Steel lock plate with East India Company lion and crowned 3. Ring neck flint cock. Steel frizzen. Oval, brass butt cap with steel lanyard ring. Brass side plate stamped "MGOO" Brass trigger guard and end cap, this with steel spring to retain a captive steel ramrod.
