An early 19th century horn and tortoiseshell circular table snuff box, the cover set with a portrait miniature of a lady wearing, watercolour on ivory within a gold coloured metal bezel, 8cm diam, c.1810
Please see attached images. Wonderful quality portrait miniature, however, with a few condition points: there is a vertical crack from left of centre down (see image), some peripheral chips and loss of medium. Slight bowing to mount. The box with surface scratches and wear, some chipped losses to the tortoiseshell interior.
