A 1960 Arial Leader, registration no. 237 UYM, frame no. T18362/B, engine no. T18362/B, grey and blue. This Ariel Leader is presented in very good condition. Having been purchased by the previous owner after being stored since the early 1970's. The previous owner carried out an extensive rebuild to the engine which is documented in the paperwork and included a refreshed crankshaft and cylinder rebore to point .020 pistons, rings and pins. New cranckshaft bearings, seals and gaskets, new clutch plates, new kickstart spindle and numerous other new components associated with a full engine rebuild. Purchased by our vendor in 2021 he then embarked on a refresh of all tin work and full respray in the original colours of grey and blue. New tyres and wheels were fitted and numerous other consumables. The motorcycle now presents itself extremely well and we are advised by our vendor that it runs as it should. Improvements to aid general reliability and safety include fitting a Pazon electronic ignition and coil, uprated alternator and conversion to 12v with new ignition switch, Cibby headlight converted to LED and a rewire with flashing indicators. The motorcycle will be offered with receipts, some history, old tax discs and V5c.
