West Indies: St. Lucia Central Sugar Factory Co. Ltd., 2nd Preferred shares, 18[88], #19, brown. Registered 1874 to establish a central sugar producing factory for the Island along the same lines as that on Guadeloupe and Martinique. A quarter of the shares were subscribed by the Colonial Government. Foreclosed in December 1894 and the property sold. Creased, rust mark at top, fine and rare.
