An interesting and unusual group of six mounted WWII and later medals RAF Bomber Command later Royal Signals interest, to T A Hammill. WWII awards to 1438337 Flight Sergeant Wireless Operator / Air Gunner T A Hammill comprising 1939 - 45 Star, Air Crew Europe Star with France and Germany clasp, Pacific Star, War Medal; Cold War awards to 22830137 Sgt T A Hammill Royal Signals comprising Elizabeth II General Service Medal with "Cyprus" Clasp and Elizabeth II Regular Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal. Together with Hammill's WW2 RAF log book detailing training and operational service with 100 Squadron up to early June 1944 and later service in the Pacific Theatre; his Regular Army Certificate of Service referencing service in Middle East and Far East Land Forces and British Army of The Rhine; together with other paperwork including a brother's WWII RAF service book and WWII British bomb-drop propaganda leaflets; a mounted miniature medal group; a duplicate issue group of WWII medals matching those mounted. We are informed that T A Hammill re-enlisted in the forces following his de-mobilization having found Civi-street not to his liking.
