1793-1814 MGSM 2 clasps Badajoz, Salamanca to James Girt 4th Foot, several small edge bruises, thus very fine. With good quantity of copied research, a volunteer from the Westminster Militia, enlisted in 4th Bn June 1809 for the Walcheren Expedition, wounded in the head at Badajoz 6/4/12. Sickness kept him out of the American Expedition, rejoined 1st Bn in May 1815 and fought at Waterloo in Captain Anwyl's Company, discharged 12/6/16, died 1/2/56. (See photo) (R)
