A worksplate YORKSHIRE ENGINE 2485 of 1950. From a standard gauge 0-6-0ST new to Samuel Fox & Co, Ltd, Stocksbridge Ironworks, Yorkshire, number 10. Sold to the National Coal Board in 1962 for use at Maltby Main Colliery, near Rotherham where it carried the number 1. Sold for scrap in October 1969. Cast brass, 11"x6", the front repainted. (Postage Band: C)
