Second Regiment of Life Guards Standard/Guidon Bearers Belt. A rare pre 1922 example of the ceremonial belt worn by the guidon bearer of the regiment. Five inch wide belt of regimental pattern gold lace with two lines of scarlet. Retaining gilt buckle with title Secd Regt of Life Guards 1860, slider and buckle the latter with Battle Honours and post 1901 crown. The belt with double arrow WD cancelation stamps. Gilt remains bright to the furniture and lace.
