A late 19th Chinese silk embroidered Mandarin Duck Civilian rank badge for a civilian official of the seventh rank, embroidered in polychrome threads and Peking knot depicting a left facing mandarin duck perched on rocks looking towards a lunar disk, 39cm x 40cm, framed and glazed
No obvious loose threads. Colour is slightly muted but visible. Pink coloured stain visible to the left of the badge which is noticeable. Apart from this, it appears a rather good example with wear commensurate with age.
