A pair of mid 18th century c1760 Dutch Delft blue and white trumpet vases. Each vase of trumpet form featuring central hand painted biblical scene of Abraham preparing to sacrifice his son with dagger on pyre, marked Ge 22 V: 9-13 for Genesis. Covers with scrolled finial and hand painted orange fruit design with scrolled surrounds. One cover with heavy restoration to edges, the other with some loss to paintwork & possible repair to finial. Signed L P Kan for Lampetkan to underside.
