A late 19th century black lacquer & gilt trinket box, the lid decorated with an armorial, 12cm wide; together with two matching rectangular pin dishes (3).
The lid of the trinket box has an area of discolouration on the bottom left corner and the black lacquer has rubbed off around the outer edge and the corners. The black lacquer has also rubbed off of the edges of the box and both dishes have wear around the edges with lacquer lose.
