BRISTOL END OF DAY FRIGGER TYPE TANKARD. 5ins tall, very dark green/ black glass. Heavily embossed to one side ROGERS/ BRISTOL with central crossed bottles pictorial trade mark. Crude applied handle with very rough, & prominent, base pontil. Fracture from top of handle to lip edge most agree done in manu8facture. Does not detract in any way from the display of this remarkable survivor - one of only two such recorded to date. (8.5/10) NR
