ROWLAND WARD, AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY TAXIDERMY ABERRATION PHEASANT.
Male Ring-necked Pheasant in light aberration, finely mounted by 'The Jungle, Rowland Ward FZS, 166 Piccadilly' (etched internally to glass), circa 1920. Posed with head cocked and tail aloft, on natural earthy groundwork of leaf-litter and ferns with painted branches extending vertically. Housed in a typical five-sided glass case with brown taped frame.
