HOUSE OF COMMONS WHISKY JUG. (WG pg 34) 8ins tall, tan top & handle, lower off white glaze, pictorial, sepia transfer. JAMES BUCHANAN & CO/ SPECIAL SCOTCH/ WHISKY/... HOUSE OF COMMONS. Port Dundas p.m. base mark. There is a 'feathered' area to the rear which suggests it may once have been drilled to accomodate a lamp (the good news being - that is why it's survived!). But overall this is superb example of an all time classic - one of the best transfers I've ever seen? (8/10) NR
