A pair of 1918-dated Trench Art shell cases formed as lidded pots, one decorated with a hunting dog with catch in its mouth, the other with a pastoral scene featuring a windmill. The shell is marked AFM (for Ateliers de Fabrication Militaire), Lot 1 1918, both are from a 10.5cm American howitzer.
