ENGLISH MALLET BOTTLE. 6.9ins tall. Something of an extraordinary phenomen. What appears as a classic short necked English mallet bottle, c. 1725, short tapering neck, pointed edge string rim (completely intact), flat tooled top lip bears a bluey hue in the correct light. Very rare to find such an example on the open market. Base full of David Walker Barker labels inlcuding one recording this was recovered from a building in Whitehall - think the last bit is during demolition?
