Henry VIII silver Halfgroat, second coinage (1526-1544), Canterbury mint under Archbishop Warham, cross patonce mintmark (S 2343, North 1802). Obverse: right-facing crowned profile bust within a beaded circle, cross patonce mintmark, 'hEnRIC'x VIII'x DI'x Gx R'x AGL'x Zx FR'' around. Reverse: shield of royal arms, quartered by a long cross fourchee, 'W' to left and 'A' to right, 'T' initial mark, 'CIVITAS x xx CAnTOR xx' around. Weight: 1.26g. Grade: AU 53, one of only three in this grade assessed by NGC (# 2915843-013).
