AN EARLY 18TH CENTURY EIGHT-DAY LACQUER WORK LONGCASE CLOCK the 12" arched brass dial with mask head spandrels and Roman chapter ring enclosing a matted centre with seconds dial and date aperture below an arched top with name cartouche and strike/silent function, fronting a five pillar weight-driven movement with anchor escapement and dutch strike on two bells. The chinoiserie lacquer case with arched top and long trunk door. (249cm high without finial )
