Austrian sculptor of the 20th century. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich from 1943, called up for war in 1944. From 1946 studied at the Academy of Fine Arts with Fritz Wotruba. In the 1950s and 1960s active in the field of art on buildings, created numerous sculptures for the municipal buildings of the city of Vienna. From 1954 member of the Vienna Secession, from 1975 restorer at the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. In 1957 participation in the sculpture biennial in Antwerp and the Triennial in Madrid, in 1968 in the Biennial of Metal Sculpture in Warsaw. Until 1953 figurative works mainly animal sculptures, then geometric sculptures. Bronze sculptures in public spaces, such as Horse 1953, Ibis 1954, Goat 1957, Pelican Fountain 1958, Goose Fountain 1959, Abstract Fountain 1958 and Primens Figures 1962, 1967, 1969.
