1974 Sir Gareth Edwards Matchworn British & I Lions Jersey v S Africa: There can surely be few more iconic such jerseys: one of the world's greatest scrum halves, in the second biggest ever British and Irish Lions' victory over S Africa, on their unique unbeaten tour in 1974. This jersey was worn by the double Lion in the 26-9 Third Test win over the Springboks at Port Elizabeth. Classic scarlet issue, with slight fading to chest and with white collar a little 'pinked' in the wash, Lions' Four Nations crest to breast and white stitched 9 to reverse. Made by Umbro. Very good condition for its 50-year anniversary. Another of his jerseys from that tour sold for 15,000 pounds a year ago. Unmissable
