An Imperial Russian Army Officer's 1881-1909 Shaskha (sabre) the cartouche to the hilt vacant of a cypher, the slightly curved blade with multiple fullers, stamped with indistinct makers/armourers mark of a canon, and marked MAC to either side of the ricasso, held in a leather scabbard with brass furniture. 81 cm length of blade, 96 cm overall length sheathed.
