A smokebox numberplate, 34092, from a (SR) Bulleid West Country Class Light Pacific 4-6-2 built at Brighton in September 1949, originally named WELLS but renamed CITY OF WELLS in 1950, one of the Class not rebuilt, retaining its original streamlined casing to the end. Allocated new to Stewarts Lane, it moved in 1961 to Salisbury from where it was withdrawn in November 1964 and sold to Woodham Bros at Barry. Purchased by a group from the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, it was restored and entered service in 1979 until withdrawn in 1989, then stored until 2014 and purchased by the East Lancs Railway in 2019. Repainted, the BR(S) Eastleigh triangle cast in the back. (Postage Band: D)
