Kilmichael Ambush, War of Independence, a Luger 9mm pistol, in relic condition, discovered at the ambush site. Coated in acrylic.
The Kilmichael Ambush on 28 November 1920 was carried out by 36 West Cork IRA volunteers, commanded by Tom Barry, who killed sixteen members of the Auxiliary Division, Royal Irish Constabulary.
